It’s time again for one of the international trail running community’s favourite events, a spectacularly beautiful but extremely difficult race – the Transvulcania – which attracts thousands of participants each year from all over the world. Scheduled for 11th May, as always in the splendid setting of La Palma in the Canary Islands, the race will see the debut of the new Vibram® Trailrunning Team, with the added bonus of a new member to the team, Stefano Ruzza.

The Team with the yellow octagon will tackle the very hard Ultramarathon: 83 kilometres with 8,525m total D, across the harsh landscape of the island of La Palma, setting off from the Fuencaliente lighthouse and arriving at Puerto de Tazacorte.

The project "ordinary people being extraordinary" continues.

Vibram's® presence in trailrunning is re-confirmed, with a new entry and a large-scale international competition programme.

After last year's many successes, Vibram® confirms its commitment to the future of adventure trailing and presents the 2013 Vibram® Trailrunning Team, enriched with a new entry.

In the forefront yet again for the third year in a row, is the courageous Vibram® philosophy: "ordinary people being extraordinary", based on the conviction that even "normal" people can engage in undertake out-of-the-ordinary activities, at the limit of the extreme.

The 2013 team is composed of 3 Italians: Nicola Bassi and Beppe Marazzi, who are joined by the new entry Stefano Ruzza, and 3 Frenchmen: Sébastien Nain, Ronan Moalic and David Gatti. Other athletes will be present on special occasions.

Maremontana: The big debut 2013!

March 22 to 24, on the Liguria’s coast (Italy) it will be held the first official meeting of the 2013 season, the Vibram Trail Running Team®.

The location will be Loano, a seaside resort and tourist area, settled halfway between Genoa and Nice.

A trainigng stage for a challenging and exciting season is waiting for the historical runners of the team: Beppe Marazzi, Sébastien Nain, Nicholas Bassi, Ronan MOALIC and David Gatti, with the new entry Stefano Ruzza.

The Trailrunning Team Vibram® makes its mark.

Just a few months after its success in the sixth North Face Lavaredo Ultra Trail race, the Trailrunning Team Vibram® continues to grab the headlines.

The 2012 edition of the legendary UTMB® race (Chamonix, 31 August 2012) saw the Team turn in a determined performance, facing what can only be described as treacherous weather conditions.

The memorable race highlighted the talent of the Vibram® athletes, who were competing against more than 2,300 trail runners from all over Europe.

The North Face® Lavaredo Ultra Trail

This past weekend (June 29- July 1st), five of the six athletes of the Trailrunning Team Vibram® 2012 were at the starting line of the Lavaredo Ultra Trail, a 120km / 6.000 m+ race in the heart of Dolomites mountains.

The staff of Vibram®, main sponsor of the event, made its best to provide its own athletes with the perfect race conditions.

Sebastien Nain, Giuseppe Marazzi, Francesca Canepa, Nicola Bassi and Ronan Moalic started the Lavaredo Ultra Trail with the secret hope of getting a happy surprise in the end (while injured David Gatti had to renounce).
