David Gatti, 41 years from Grenoble. Married, he has two children aged 11 and 9 years.

Business Market Responsible at Polartec®, he discovered the trailrunning in 2009 after going to the UTMB® for work. Davide started practicing trailrunning in 2010 and after a few months of doubts and reflections he got engaged in the CCC. In 2011 he ran the TDS with the aim to test the harder path, the UTMB®, in a closed future.

David Gatti is at his second experience with the Trailrunning Team Vibram®. “My participation in the team in 2012 started as a joke - says David - during a job conversation and suddenly I was recruited into the team.” Enthusiastic about his experience in a team, David considers to receive psychological as well as material support from being a part of it. And to him this factors are essential to let a runner finish a race.
David describes himself as a real “ordinary person”: a wife, a children, a demanding job that forces him to travel a lot, and a passion that he tries to cultivate in his spare time. His engagement with the Trailrunning Team Vibram® is a new challenge, which in 2013 is expected to become even more challenging.

One of David’s best memories of 2012 is the emotion to cut the finish line at the UTMB® thanks to an outstanding recovery during the second half of the race.
